PHNOM PENH NOODLE HOUSE

Only seven years after fleeing Cambodia and immigrating to the United States with his family, Seng (Sam) Ung fulfilled his dream and opened a restaurant. That was 1987. Twenty-four years and many perfected family recipes later, the Phnom Penh Noodle House remains Seattle's only Cambodian restaurant and the authentic, fresh food continues to reward its loyal following (including not-on-the-menu-but-made-daily Bone Soup).
